KS1 Primary Teacher – Full Time – New Barn School

 Hillcrest – New Barn School, Nr Chieveley, Berkshire

Hillcrest New Barn will be a new independent school for boys and girls with complex needs aged 8-16 years. The school will cater for children from some of Hillcrest Hampshire’s residential homes; Acorn and Ashley, as well as day pupils.

We are looking to appoint a motivated and skilled practitioner who is passionate about teaching and learning and can engage our students in education even when they may be reluctant due to previous life experiences. You will be part of a strong dedicated team committed to providing our students with the very best outcomes through academic and vocational studies. The role will be challenging but rewarding, working in a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference. The post holder will be expected to lead the teaching of and co-ordinate flexible, person-centred programs of study for designated individuals and groups of young people at Key Stage 1 with SEMH and complex needs. You will need to have qualified teacher status and have experience of working with young people with SEMH.
