Outcomes First Group held a Get on your Feet pedometer challenge.
As part of our well being initiative staff decided to set themselves a challenge in keeping active.
After last years success and back by popular demand the ‘Get on your feet’ pedometer challenge took place during April.
The challenge was a fun and easy way to improve physical and mental well-being. It also promoted team spirit. With the Rio Olympics later this year we opted for Olympic-themed team names. Staff got into teams of five and got stepping!
Steps were recorded and submitted to head office at the end of the 2 week period.
WE are pleased to announce that Sir Stepalot from Hillcrest Steps in Oxfordshire were our overall winners! With a total of 304,350.
Most steps walked as an individual was Andrew Turvill from OptionsKernow, who walked a fantastic 77,346 steps across 5 days!
Well done to Head Office, Beachlands, Kernow, Park School and Steps for taking part.
